4" Stand-Alone Aqua-Tech Column
4" Stand-Alone Aqua-Tech column, for higher through-put Color Remediation. This is a perfect upgrade to your existing extraction system and comes ready to use, just plug and play. This is also available certified with a report and Certificate of Conformance for your Local Jurisdiction.
The column comes with a sight-spool, 1/4" fitting for thermocouple, and a jacketed spool for thermal control over your process, and comes on it's own rolling rack.
Gaskets available are Buna-N, Viton, PTFE and Tuf-Steel. Sights available are Polycarbonate and METAGLAS. If your system needs to be certified, you will need the METAGLAS option.
A: Top Lid. Comes with 2x 3/8" Compression connections to ball valves. One is for material inlet, the other can be used for secondary solvent injection, Vac or N2 pressure assist, depending on desired usage. Top lid also comes with a Pressure Relief Valve (250 psi) and Pressure Gauge (-30 in Hg to 300 psi).
B: Top Spool. 24" Tall, non-jacketed.
C: Sight-Spool with 2 sight glasses.
Sight glasses available are Polycarbonate or METAGLAS.
Polycarbonate Max Pressure: 225 psi @ -40ºC
METAGLAS Max Pressure: 250 psi @ -53°C to 232ºC
D: Top Filter, to retain media. Available as a 50 um, 25 um, 10 um, or 5 um.
E: Jacketed Spool, to be packed with media/adsorbants.
Jacketed Inlet/Outlet fittings are 1/2" FNPT.
Spool height options are 6", 10", 24", 36".
F: Bottom 2 sintered filters. 2 filters are used, a more porous 5 micron to hold powders back, and a smaller micron to catch any smaller media that passes through the larger initial filter.
G: Bottom Lid. Single 3/8" Compression fitting with a ball valve, to valve your CRC column output.
H: Perforated Plate with 2 Rings.
