Custom Fabrication
Vessels and stainless equipment built to your duty, in our own shop in Bend, Oregon. Tell us the volume, the pressure and what is going through it, and you get a dimensioned drawing before anything is cut.
WHAT WE BUILD
Non-lethal service. Two and seven eighths inch outside diameter and up, quarter inch to half inch wall, 304 and 304L or 316 and 316L stainless. Welded, inspected and documented under our own quality control manual, with Hartford Steam Boiler as the authorized inspection agency.
A large share of what leaves this shop falls outside ASME scope, usually because the diameter or the pressure does not reach it. Same shop, same welder, same finish. No stamp, because the code does not apply and you should not pay for one you do not need.
Solvent and process storage in stainless, aboveground only. Sized to your footprint and your fill and draw points rather than to a catalog size.
Hydrocarbon systems built around your throughput, your room and your local approvals. If a stock configuration fits, it is on the site with a price on it. If it does not, this is the page for it.
SEE THE STOCK SYSTEMS →Jacketed and unjacketed containers, hoppers, trays, stands and the one-off stainless work that comes up around a process line. If it is stainless and it has to hold something, ask.
The same vessels and process equipment, written for a pharmaceutical or process engineer, with what a quality group asks for set out plainly and the certifications we do not hold named rather than glossed over.
PHARMACEUTICAL AND SANITARY WORK →A code vessel carries a serial number, a data report and a documented material trail. That paperwork is what an underwriter is actually lending against, and it is what an imported garage build cannot produce.
FINANCING AND LEASING →THE SHOP, IN NUMBERS
Lead times are for a build slot, not a quote. Stocked parts ship the same day.
HOW A BUILD RUNS
Volume, pressure, temperature, what is going through it, and whether it has to carry a code stamp. The form at the bottom of this page asks for exactly that.
You get a dimensioned elevation before anything is cut, and nothing goes to the floor until you have signed off on it.
Materials, welder qualification and the inspection points are recorded against the vessel. That file is what an inspector asks for, and what a lender asks for later.
Cut, rolled and welded in our own shop. Not brokered out to somebody else's floor.
Code work is witnessed and pressure tested. Non-code work still gets tested, it just is not witnessed.
Drawings and documentation leave with the vessel, not three weeks behind it.
WHAT WE WILL TELL YOU UP FRONT
A code stamp is not always the right answer. Plenty of what we build falls outside ASME scope because the diameter or the pressure never reaches it, and paying for code work you do not need is money burned. We will say which one you are looking at before you spend anything.
We build to UL standards. We do not hold UL listings, and we will not tell you we do.
Pressure vessel work here is non-lethal service, and storage tank work is aboveground. If your duty sits outside that, we will say so instead of taking the job.
Lead times are real and they are long, because the vessels are built rather than pulled off a shelf. Twenty weeks means twenty weeks.

Fill this in and you get a real answer instead of a back and forth. Everything below is something a quote actually depends on, so the more of it you give us, the faster the number comes back. If you would rather talk it through, call 541-330-6409 during shop hours.
