K-type temperature measurement for a hazardous room: probes, extension cables built to order, a four channel logger, and the spools and tees that give a probe somewhere to sit.

• Probes are 1/4 inch K-type, ungrounded, in 304 stainless. The probe is a bare stem; it mounts through a 1/4 inch bore-through fitting that is bought separately.
• Extension cables are built here, at any length and with any combination of ends. Standard is a standard size K female jack on the probe end and a mini K male plug on the logger end.
• Our cable is PTFE insulated on conductor and jacket, 20 AWG solid, which is why it survives a cold room. The commodity cable sold elsewhere is PVC and good to about 221 F (105 C).
• Honest limit worth knowing: a standard connector body is glass filled nylon, good to about 356 F (180 C). That connector, not the wire, is what caps a cable assembly.
• Cables are made to order in 6, 10, 15, 20 and 25 foot lengths. Other lengths on request, call 541-330-6409.
