System Sizing Calculator
Size your hydrocarbon system
Enter the finished extract you want to sell each month. The calculator works back to runs per month, how hard each platform has to work, and how much material you need to source. Every number is editable.
Your production
Start with the target. The defaults are typical, change them to match your plan.

What you need to source
Material demand is the same whichever system you run. It is often the real limit.

Cooling with liquid CO2: what it consumes
If you cool with liquid CO2, it becomes a monthly bill tied directly to run count. A recirculating chiller trades that bill for a larger upfront purchase. Use your local CO2 price to see what the ongoing side looks like at the run count above.

Liquid CO2 supply interruptions stop production outright, and that lost time is not counted here. A chiller comparison, with equipment and installation costs for your site, is part of the project budget we build for every quote.
Planning figures only. Yields depend on your material, and recovery depends on your post-processing. The 70% line on each bar marks the comfortable ceiling we size to, which leaves room for cleaning, maintenance and bad days.
