We hold the stamp and we weld the vessel. Most of the companies selling extraction equipment are consultants and resellers who buy vessels in and assemble them. When your AHJ asks a question about a weld, the people who made it answer the phone. This page is the paperwork behind that claim.

What the stamp actually means for you

Every pressure vessel is built to code, inspected by a third-party Authorized Inspector, hydrostatically tested, serialized and registered.

Many states require ASME U stamped vessels for hydrocarbon extraction. A non-code vessel can fail an inspection after you have paid for it, installed it and built a room around it.

Serialized production

Every code vessel carries its own nameplate and serial number, and the data report is registered with the National Board. As of mid-2026, 55 vessels carry ASME serial numbers, NBO-1 through NBO-55.

Code vessels are a fraction of the total. The shop has fabricated well over a thousand stainless pressure vessels across its history, code and non-code, for cannabis extraction, pharmaceutical, chemical, and food and beverage customers.

Third-party engineering certification

Our equipment is peer reviewed and PE stamped by independent engineering firms. We hold 84 engineering certification reports covering the product line, written over the years by several firms including 3P Certz, LLC of Monroe, Washington and PSI, along with other licensed professional engineers.

So you can see what is actually in one of these reports rather than taking our word for it. From the design calculations for our 100 lb solvent tank, per 2019 ASME BPVC Section VIII Division 1:

Certificate of Conformance What roughly 98 percent of AHJs actually want. Serialized to your individual system, includes site-specific seismic calculations, and references the parent ECR. Issued per system

Proof of operator training Signed certificates for every operator who will run the system. Issued at the end of training

Tell us which of these your jurisdiction requires when you order, not after the inspector is standing in your room. Extra documentation may carry extra fees.

How every vessel is built

  1. Material in, traceable. Mill test reports on file against heat number for every plate, pipe and fitting that goes into a code vessel.
  2. Welded in house. Not subcontracted, not bought in. Our own welders, qualified to Section IX, on our own procedures.
  3. Inspected. By a third-party Authorized Inspector from Hartford Steam Boiler, to our controlled Quality Control Manual.
  4. Hydrostatically tested. At 1.3 times MAWP. A 250 psi vessel is tested to 325 psi and the result is documented.
  5. Passivated and finished. Every weld cleaned and passivated before the vessel leaves the shop.
  6. Nameplated and registered. Serial number stamped, data report filed with the National Board.
  7. Checked against a ship list. Every system ships against a documented pre-delivery checklist.
